Lemon and Garlic Salmon Pasta
This recipe is perfect if you’re looking to make something quick and simple, but healthy and delicious! I mean, can a recipe go wrong if it contains lots of garlic and lemon??

Lemon and Garlic Salmon Pasta
- 250 gr or 8 oz salmon fillet
- Extra virgin olive oil
- GF tagliatelle or fettucine
- Dairy-free butter (optional)
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- Zest of 1 organic lemon
- Lemon juice from 1/2 – 1 lemon
- 1 dl or 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Spice mix for the salmon
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Paprika
- Parsley
- Mustard seeds
- Coriander
- Thyme
- Oregano
Feel free to use your own favorite spices and herbs for the salmon!


Instructions
- Season the salmon with the spice mix (or use your favorite spices) and rub the mixture into the salmon.
- Bring a saucepan to medium-high heat and add a good drizzle of olive oil. Cook the salmon until it’s golden brown but still tender.
- Prepare the sauce while your pasta is cooking. Use the same saucepan that you used for the salmon. On medium heat, add a generous amount of olive oil and dairy-free butter (optional). Add diced garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes. Then add lemon zest, vegetable broth, and lemon juice. Let the sauce reduce to half. (about 5-10 minutes)
- Strain your pasta and add it to the sauce together with the salmon. Add a little bit of pasta water to your pan mix everything together, and move it to a plate. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or spring onion and thinly sliced lemons,
