Gluten-free Orange and Cardamom Pancakes
These Gluten-free Orange and Cardamom pancakes are one of my all-time favorite pancake recipes 💛 Fresh cardamom is one of the most wonderful scents and spices in the world, and when combined with orange, it’s heavenly. If you are a cardamom lover, this recipe is for you!

Gluten-free Orange & Cardamom Pancakes
- 200 ml sparkling water
- 200 ml almond milk
- 200 g oat flour
- 2 organic eggs
- 1 large banana, very ripe
- 1-2 tablespoons melted (vegan) butter
- 1 organic orange
- 2 tsp cardamom
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp of fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Mash the banana and whisk the eggs. Combine with milk, water, and oil. Add the dry ingredients and let the batter rest for about 30 minutes. Ps. You can also make the dough in a blender, just throw all the ingredients in the blender and blend until you get a smooth dough!
- Cook the pancakes in oil/(vegan) butter. The pancake is ready to be flipped when small holes appear on the surface.
Tips and notes
You can top these with anything, but these taste especially delicious with coconut yogurt, orange slices, and maple syrup! You can make a vegan version by replacing the eggs with 1 dl or 1/2 cup thick vegan yogurt.
