Lemon and Garlic Salmon Pasta
This recipe is perfect if you’re looking to make something quick and simple, but healthy and delicious! I mean, can a recipe go wrong if it contains lots of garlic and lemon?? 🤤
DAIRY-FREE LEMON AND GARLIC SALMON PASTA RECIPE

Ingredients
- 250 gr or 8 oz salmon fillet
- Extra virgin olive oil
- GF tagliatelle or fettucine
- Dairy-free butter (optional)
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- Zest of 1 organic lemon
- Lemon juice from 1/2 – 1 lemon
- 1 dl or 1/4 cups vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Spice mix for the salmon
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Paprika
- Parsley
- Mustard seeds
- Coriander
- Thyme
- Oregano
Feel free to use your own favorite spices and herbs for the salmon!
Instructions
- Season the salmon with the spice mix (or use your favorite spices) and rub the mixture into the salmon.
- Bring a saucepan to medium-high heat and add a good drizzle of olive oil. Cook the salmon until it’s golden brown but still tender.
- Prepare the sauce while your pasta is cooking. Use the same saucepan that you used for the salmon. On medium heat, add a generous amount of olive oil and dairy-free butter (optional). Add diced garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes. Then add lemon zest, vegetable broth, and lemon juice. Let the sauce reduce to half. (about 5-10 minutes)
- Strain your pasta and add it to the sauce together with the salmon. Add a little bit of pasta water to your pan mix everything together and move it to a plate. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or spring onion and thinly sliced lemons,
Tips and notes
Try to find organic lemons, since we will be using the zest of the lemon as well! <3
