Marbled Yogurt Bark
Yogurt, berries, and almond butter = 🤍🤍 🤍
This marbled yogurt bark is great as a light and refreshing snack or dessert.
Even though it’s getting cold (summer please come back 🥲) outside, I still prefer my cold desserts over anything else! I can just imagine eating this every day the next summer hahah.
The recipe is super easy, requires only a couple of ingredients, and takes under 10 minutes to make.
MARBLED YOGURT BARK RECIPE
Cooking time 2+ hours (10 min active)
Serves 2-4
Ingredients
- 2,5 dl or 1 cup dairy-free Greek yogurt
- 1-2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)*
- 2,5 dl or 1 cup fresh or frozen berries
- Few tablespoons of smooth almond butter, peanut butter, or melted chocolate
- Vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Mix desired sweetener and yogurt together. Add more sweetener if you prefer. If you are using vanilla extract, add it to the yogurt.
- Grab a freezer-safe container (small baking tray, silicon mold, bread mold, or whatever you have!) and line it with baking paper. Spread the yogurt evenly.
- Make the marble effect by pouring the almond butter over the yogurt vertically. Use a chopstick and make lines horizontally. Sprinkle berries on top.
- Place it in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours. Cut it or break it into barks and place them in an air-tight container and grab a piece whenever you crave something light and refreshing 😋
Tips and notes
*Make the recipe vegan by using agave syrup, maple syrup, or coconut nectar.
Use yogurt with a higher fat percentage for the best flavor and texture. Lighter yogurts get icier and they don’t taste as good! Ps. Let the barks warm up for a few minutes before enjoying.
I used frozen raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries, but feel free to use whatever you like or whatever is in season 🥰
Ps. These barks work great in smoothies too – throw them into a blender with your favorite fruits, and plant-based milk. Voilá, you’ll get a quick and easy breakfast or snack!
